John Hermon: ‘Wind of God’

Wind of God

Immobile in the ocean of my world
I lie becalmed,
entrapped by circumstance and fear.

From north or south or east or west
from anywhere,
I do not care;
just come,
O breath of God.

Breeze, variable, gale or storm
or any other kind
of wind,
I do not mind;
just come,
O breath of God.

I only pray
that You will come and fill my life today,
O breath of God.

Sometimes I Write Words is available from Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats:
